Meet Dr. Hagen
A Minnesota native, Dr. Hagen attended St. John’s University, where his academic and athletic achievements paved the way to medical school at the University of Minnesota. It was there that he developed a strong interest in head and neck surgery and was selected to continue his training in the University of Minnesota’s prestigious Otolaryngology–Head and Neck Surgery residency program.
During residency, Dr. Hagen discovered his passion for facial plastic surgery—a field that uniquely combines technical expertise with artistry and creativity. Witnessing the transformative impact of well-executed facial surgery on patients’ confidence and quality of life inspired him to dedicate his career exclusively to facial rejuvenation and rhinoplasty. Committed to mastering these highly specialized procedures, he pursued advanced fellowship training under internationally renowned facial plastic surgeon Dr. Andrew Jacono in Manhattan.
After completing his training, Dr. Hagen returned home to Minnesota, where he now brings his Park Avenue experience and expertise to patients at Omni Cosmetic in Wayzata. He welcomes patients from across the country and offers virtual consultations for those traveling from out of town.
Dr. Hagen specializes in facial rejuvenation procedures, including deep plane facelifts, lip lifts, brow lifts, temporal lifts, upper and lower blepharoplasty, and rhinoplasty. By focusing exclusively on facial aging and rhinoplasty, he has developed a refined understanding of the subtle details and nuances that contribute to exceptional outcomes. He approaches each face comprehensively, creating balanced, natural-looking results tailored to the individual goals and anatomy of every patient.
Outside of work, Dr. Hagen enjoys spending time with his wife, a respected OB/GYN, and their daughter. He also enjoys exploring Minnesota’s lakes, playing golf, and visiting the family farm. Dr. Hagen feels fortunate to make a meaningful difference in the lives of his patients while helping them achieve their aesthetic goals with confidence.
